NANCY FRASER is a professor on the Graduate Faculty of Political and Social Science at the New School for Social Research. She was educated at Bryn Mawr College and the City University of New York, where she received her Ph.D., and her areas of specialization include social and political theory, feminist theory, nineteenth and twentieth century European thought, and cultural studies.
