The Varieties of Value
ANTHONY QUINTON (LORD QUINTON) was born in Kent in 1925. He studied history before serving as a navigator in the Royal Air Force during World War I I and after the war studied philosophy, politics, and economics at Christ Church, Oxford. He became a fellow of All Souls College in 1949 and was a fellow and tutor in philosophy at New College from 1955 to 1978.
