EVELYN Fox KELLER, who is currently a MacArthur Fellow, is a Professor in the Program in Science, Technology, and Society at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She was educated at Brandeis University, Radcliffe College, and Harvard University, where she received her Ph.D. degree in physics in 1963.
