CASS R. SUNSTEIN is Karl N. Llewellyn Professor of Jurisprudence at the University of Chicago. He was educated at Harvard University and received his law degree from Harvard Law School, where he was executive editor of the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review. He worked as a law clerk to Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall and has been a visiting professor at Columbia Law School and Harvard Law School.
