Moderation, Rationality, and Virtue

MICHAEL SLOTE is Professor of Philosophy and Chair of the Department of Philosophy at the University of Maryland, College Park. Until recently he was Professor of Philosophy at Trinity College, Dublin, where he was also a Fellow. Professor Slote took his A.B. and Ph.D. degrees from Harvard University and has also taught at Columbia University, the University of Pennsylvania, Swarthmore College, and New York State University.
