Elizabeth Anderson is an Arthur F. Thurnau Professor and John Dewey Distinguished University Professor of Philosophy and Women’s Studies at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. The author of Value in Ethics and Economics (1993) and The Imperative of Integration (2010), she has written extensively on democratic theory, egalitarianism, affirmative action and racial integration, antidiscrimination law, the ethical limitations of the market, feminist theory, pragmatism, social epistemology, and the interaction of facts and values in the social sciences.
