James Q. Wilson is a Ronald Reagan Professor of Public Policy at Pepperdine University. He was educated at the University of Redlands and received his Ph.D. at the University of Chicago. He taught at Harvard University, where he was the Shattuck Professor of Government, and at UCLA, where he was the James Collins Professor of Management and Public Policy.
