The Pseudodemocratization of the American Presidency
ROBERT DAHL was born in Iowa and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington and his doctorate from Yale University. He joined the political science faculty at Yale in 1946. In 1964 he was appointed Sterling Professor. He retired in 1986.
