KINGMAN BREWSTER took his undergraduate degree at Yale in 1941. After service as a naval aviator during the Second World War, he studied law at Harvard. Following a year in the European Headquarters of the Marshall Plan and a year at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, he served for ten years on the faculty of the Harvard Law School.
